Wind Mill shown on map at Black Lake as pumping station, together with reservoir.
Research required!, was it brick built, how many
sails, when was it built, was it the forerunner
of Meir Heath Windmill being converted to a water
tower?.etc etc.
Coal and ironstone outcropped in the areas of
Fulford, Moddershall, Leadendale, etc which accounts for the many water filled pits,hence the
name Black Lake, which was used for coal washing.
